Safe Working at Heights
This short course will teach you how to recognise potential hazards when working at heights and how to prevent and arrest falls.
This relates to risks of falling three metres (house construction), two metres (general construction) or if work is on a roof pitch is 26 degrees or over.
If you need to carry out work at heights, you must be able to prevent a fall; or if prevention is not possible, arrest the fall and prevent or minimise the risk of death or injury from the arrest of the fall.
